Free SpringFest is April 6 at Boca Raton’s Spanish River Park
The inaugural SpringFest will be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, April 6 at Spanish River Park, 3001 N. Ocean Blvd., in Boca Raton.
The free event, sponsored by the City of Boca Raton, is being held in conjunction with Earth Month.
In an effort to jump-start the Spring season and serve as a prelude to the Easter holiday, children activities will include egg hunts, face painting, glitter tattoos, lawn games and a petting zoo. Photos with the Easter Bunny or a ‘live’ mermaid will be available for $5.
The festival will feature more than 30 arts & crafts booths, a green market with fresh produce, flowers, locally made products, recycling activities and educational booths geared toward Earth Month.
There will also be music from five different bands on the park’s main stage throughout the day.
Food and beverages will be available during the festival from an assortment of more than 20 different vendors, according to event organizers.
Parking at Spanish River Park will be free on April 6 and participants will have ocean access.
