The 18th annual Orangetheory Half Marathon and 5K Run/Walk will be held Saturday, Nov. 24.

The event is headquartered at Spanish River Park, 3001 N. Ocean Blvd., in Boca Raton, where all races start and end.

The half marathon will start at 6:40 a.m. on Nov. 24 with the 5K events going off at 6:45.

The half-marathon course runs to Deerfield Beach and back, and participants must run a 13-minute pace for the first seven miles to guarantee bridge closure.

Awards will be presented to the top 3 overall finishers, top masters and top three in each 5-year age group, 14 and under, 70 and over in both the half marathon and 5K events.

The top female and male law enforcement participant will also be recognized in both events.

New this year will be the 2-person relay division (approximately 6.5 miles each leg), along with female/male/coed teams.

The deadline for pre-registration is Nov. 23 and the event may close out due to space in Spanish Rivere Park.
