Orangetheory Half Marathon/5K set for Nov. 30 at Spanish River Park
The 19th annual Orangetheory Half Marathon and 5K Run/Walk is schedule for Saturday, Nov. 30 and will be headquartered at Spanish River Park, 3001 N. Ocean Blvd., in Boca Raton.
Proceeds from the races will benefit the Boca Raton Police Athletic League.
The event includes a number of competitive races within both the half marathon and 5K and is for ages 10 all the way through seniors.
Pre-registered contestants will be treated to a $5 Five Guys gift card, Krispy Kreme donuts to all finishers, over $1,000 in raffle prizes, a healthy pre-race breakfast and custom finisher medals. Half-marathon/5K praticipants will also receive a moisture wicking T-shirt.
Awards will go to the top three finishers in a number of categories, including: top masters, law enforcement, 14 and under to 70 plus in the half-marathon/5K events.
There will also be a half-marathon two person relay division (co-ed/female/male) and a new 5K team category of the four fastest runners (4 co-ed, 4 female, or 4 male).
Contestants must pre-register to receive T-shirts and race day medals and this event may close out early due to space limitations in Spanish River Park.
